A day I won’t forget anytime soon, Sunday afternoon here news started to come in about the helicopter crash. At first it’s something you don’t believe or hope isn’t true but then more and more sources came out with the news. Kobe has died. still not sinking in because the guy is a hero, a super hero not natural in the work he put in and the things he can do on the court. The news shocked not only the basketball community but the world, being such a big part of the NBA and LA for 20 years!
Growing up space jam and Michael Jordan got me interested in basketball but Kobe was the reason I began playing and continue playing to this day. Without Kobe there wouldn’t be a Baseline Leeds.
All I really want to say is thank you Kobe it has been a pleasure getting to watch you play throughout the years!
My heart goes out to the families of everyone involved in the accident, they will never be forgotten 🙏🏼
